9th National Sport Climbing Championship Concludes in Islamabad

Pakistan's top sport climbers gathered in Islamabad for the 9th National Sport Climbing Championship, the country's premier national competition, organized by the Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP). Over three days, athletes from across the country competed in the official disciplines of sport climbing, with Speed Climbing taking center stage as climbers raced for national titles and podium finishes.

The championship welcomed competitors representing Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Islamabad, and departmental teams including SNGPL, showcasing the continued growth of competitive climbing across Pakistan.

Beyond determining national champions, the event played a vital role in identifying emerging talent, strengthening the national climbing community, and preparing athletes for future international competitions. Throughout the championship, climbers displayed remarkable speed, athleticism, technical ability, and sportsmanship, reflecting the steady progress of sport climbing in Pakistan.
